CNC Machinist
Posted: 03/06/2026- Minimum requirements for consideration of employment:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical School completion is preferred
- Minimum 5 years' machining experience
- Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, and geometry
- Must speak English
- Responsibilities
- Calculate dimensions or tolerances using micrometers
- Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes and milling machines
- Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines
- Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision micrometers
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
- Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition
- Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate products
- Operate equipment to verify operational efficiency
- Diagnose machine tool malfunctions to determine need for adjustments or repairs
- Confer with engineering, supervisory, or manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information

- Experience with inspection tools and blueprint reading preferred — on-the-job training will be provided

- Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure conformance to customer specifications and drawings
- Read and interpret blueprints, dimensions, and tolerances
- Use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product quality
- Identify and report quality issues or nonconforming products
- Initiate actions to prevent nonconforming product
- Communicate status of assigned product lines to internal teams and customers as required
- Ensure products are moving through the shop according to schedule
- Work with production and quality teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow
- Always maintain quality and accuracy of own work
